How To remove windshield washer nozzle??
So I'm going to be respraying my hood and I need to pop the plastic washer nozzles out from the hood so I can tape underneath. I tried wiggling them around or trying to fig out how to remove them but came up short. Any help is appreciated!

I'm actually considering just tiny-taping the nozzle front and then painting over them. I mean really..why not? Paint matched nozzles vs. black

I've never removed these on my 135i... but on my e46 m3, the nozzles just had a tab to push in on underneath the hood and it popped out the top of the hood.

I guess I could look at them further from under the hood, I just now honestly don't see the reason not to just paint over em. I can scuff em up a little bit when I'm sanding the hood, and i'm using 1-2 layers of sandable primer first on the hood anyhow

You've removed your washer nozzles ten times...
Ok. Well not everyone knows everything, I asked a question for a reason. I tried manipulating the nozzle underneath several different ways. I wouldn't even know wtf the "tension clips" looks like, also there's two diff nozzles depending on if you have heated or not so not sure if that makes a difference |

Also there's like 2-3 hoses and cables connected to the nozzle, do you mean you just pinch one thing and the whole nozzle just pops off and separates from everything all at once??

I just had a look at mine last night. It's actually not hard to remove. Similar mechanism to any other car I've had. Just press in the clip and push it out of the hood.
You'll obviously have to pull off the connectors/hoses. |
