Powerflex lower control arm bushings?
My lower control arm bushes are completely shot. Tempted to fit some powerflex ones - does anyone have any experience or feedback on them?
Thanks. |

Odd though that they have gone off so badly if monos. I'll have to get under the car and double check that they are definitely the cause, but currently symptoms do point to them having failed. |

I can see that I got confused on this by totally misleading mixing of the control arm and tension arm terms by some companies. For instance:
"Millway: Front Control Arm Bushing Street BMW M2 F87, M3 F80, M4 F82 F83" was on ove site, but on their own site, Millway don't actually make a control arm bushing, only the thrust arm bushing. Same goes powerflex (although they use a completely different term, using "radius arm"). Anyway, I'll get new control arms, and also some millway thrust arm bushes. |

Ditto - I have oem LCA c/w m'balls + UCA/Tension Strut with Bimmerworld m'balls - no regrets wrt NVH and front stays more stable under braking and steering feels more precise/consistent all round.
