Retrofit OEM xenon headlights
Hi all,
I have a 2010 F11 530d with the standard halogen headlights and they truly are dreadful, the car is unsafe to drive in the dark. I've tried Philips Racing Vision, and then Philips Ultinon pro9000 LED bulbs, slight improvement, but still unsafe. Have taken it to 3 different garages for alignment but all 3 say it's bang on perfect. I really want to retrofit proper OEM xenon headlights, I don't need either LED or adaptive, standard xenon ones are what I'm after. Is there a guide to retrofit OEM BMW xenon headlights onto my car, please? I don't want to use aftermarket xenons in my halogen headlights. Many thanks in advance! |

If you are going to swap out the headlight and don't care for adaptive feature, go for the aftermarket LED headlight. It look very similar to OEM LCI LED. It will look better than xenon. Cost about $1,200USD and you don't have to do much work to get it working for your car.
