I noticed that there are a number of M Performance accessories, both aesthetic and functional, that aren't listed when you go through the online configurator or are even disclosed as options when you do the build at a dealer. I'm curious if others have added these options after their vehicle has gone into production or later and how much of a PITA it is. I know the MPE is the most discussed M Performance option but curious about the black-painted lettering badges, M Performance side skirts, Mirror caps, rear spoiler, and some of the Alcantara interior pieces. Has anyone had these features added and at what point in the process? Am I too late to have them added to my vehicle?

I believe you can add most M performance parts right before it gets to the port. Afterwards the dealer will have to order them and install them.

I have a build that is ready for transport to the port where I’m getting the carbon mirror caps, rear spoilers, diffuser, side skirt, and front lip added on. I’ll update when it arrives to the dealership.

Great! I can't wait to see pics. What color vehicle? I couldn't find pics of an updated diffuser so I didn't include it when I reached out to my SA to have some parts added.
