New Purchase Checks

I recently purchased a 2017 440i GC. It has 56k miles on it and I am just curious if there are specific items I should check and or replace. I already ordered a PCV valve and plan on changing plugs soon. Any other telling signs of abuse or things to look for. It seems to be in really good shape over all and runs fine but want to make sure I stay ahead of it.

Same boat 2017 440i xDrive GC, took it in for pre purchase inspection and they replaced radiator, control arm bushings and e brake clip, I also had the plugs changed, everything else was in great shape though.

Good deal, I have had a strange clunk from time to time when I’m reversing out of the driveway or parking spot and have the wheel turned pretty sharp. I’ll have to look at the control arm bushings. Did the radiator have a leak or was it kind of precautionary. I’m unsure why the e brake clip is but will look into it. I appreciate the response.
How many miles on your ride?

It had a leak, Carvana claimed to have inspected all these things (150 point inspection ) but to their credit they paid for it all and a new surround view camera too which wasn't working (around $5100 total with everything at the dealership). The brake clip is a cheap part but hard to get to, and when it breaks the brake cable hits the driveshaft causing a grinding sound when you accelerate, I had the same issue on my 328i. It has 55k miles. Got it about a month ago but it was at the dealership for a couple of weeks.

Wow at least they paid for it. They certainly took loss on that ha. Gotcha, no grinding sound from what I can hear so I’m guess we’re good there.

Check for white residue under the main tank reservoir cap. Replace it if residue is present. Common issue.
