Best way to determine rake?

I was trying to adjust my KW DDC to not have a rake or a factory rake.

What is the best way to measure? Back bottom of front wheel vs the front bottom of the rear wheel?

Should they be equal or is there a ratio or something else?

An advice would be appreciated

Center of wheel to fender is what I've always used
Slight front lower than rear for some rotation with staggered tires
But if you can get the car corner balanced it would yield best results
Shorter wheel base cars benefits more from a slight forward rake for rotating the rear end

Hard to find a shop near NYC that will corner balance while you wait so was going to wait till the winter to drop it off for a corner balance

Really looking for a starting point right now (I forgot to measure my stock CS) also running 19” all around now instead of 19/20” staggered

Measured from the bottom of the rim to fender on my stock f82. The wheel gap on the front was around .5 inch higher than the rear wheel gap.

Get it corner-balanced at a reputable shop. Tell them how low you want it, roughly, and the rest will be determined by the scales and weight at each corner of the corner, includint driver ballast

When discussing rake I don't think you can rely on measurements anchored on the fender arches as I don't think they are equal relative to the ground. I think best way is measuring from ground to metal underneath the rocker panel.

Best way to do it. One of the things that is great from the Pcar world is that they have specific fixed points that they use to measure ride height - typically points on the frame that are easy to access underneath. If you are wanting precise and repeatable this is by far the best way to go about it. Even if it is not a universal accepted practice like on the F8x you can still create a reference point/measurement for yourself and then use those moving forward.
