BMW OEM alloys

Hi,

I have a set of 21" alloys that are used for my winter tire combo. They look like OEM BMW wheels, but i can't find any markings on them whatsoever.
They have the M sticker by the centre cap, but that's about it.

I have searched through the various threads regarding identification, but can't really find anything that matches any markings on mine(number by valve stem, back of spoke, hub and so on).

Looking at realoem.com these seem to be the 612 wheels, and should therefor be 11.5x21 rear and 10x21 front. Problem is that when I measure the width of the rear rim, which should be 11.5, it measures more than 12".. Is the rim size just a sizing specification, or should it be bang on 11.5"

Any ideas?

Cheers

There should be stampings on the inner barrel. Take a look at the pics in the below for sale post. As far as measuring, are you measuring to the outside or inside of the lip? Could make a .5 difference.

Those are the wheels I have yes, but no markings like that at all.

Ah yes, I see what you mean, I was measuring the entire width of the wheel. The 11.5" is probably as you said between the lips where the tire is mounted.

Thanks for that.
