Coding out adaptive feature
Hello,
So my drivers side headlight has water damage, and so I bought aftermarket headlights because they are way cheaper and expected it to be plug and play like it said. However, they didn’t work. So I bought a genuine BMW headlight, in which that got water damage after a few weeks. I then found how the water got in, and now am back to square one. I would like to find a way for me to be able to use my aftermarket headlights but I am very unsure of how to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would like to remove the adaptive feature and revert to non-adaptive if possible. Car year: 2016 Model: 535i xDrive Thank you! |

In the footwell module:
ALC_AFS_ENABLE > nicht aktiv AHL_ENABLE > nicht aktiv LWR_AHL_TYP > ohne_lwr

Thank you! However, when I try tomorrow I worry I will also have the problem I had before where the drivers side low and high beam didn’t work, and the passenger side low and high beam was constantly on. Also, the headlights wouldn’t turn off last time they were installed. I was having to unplug the battery at night. Any idea either how to fix this if it occurs when I try, or why it may be happening?
