Ordered Hawk HPS pads from Turner Motorsports, Said they fit M-sport brake calipers but the pads look slightly different. Looks like most other models have some sort of tab near where the pad is mounted.Was wondering if these pads will still work because I have only heard good things about them.

Stock pads come with mass vibration dampers mounted to the top pad guide tabs. Purpose is to minimize the high-frequency squeal some cars a plagued with. The Hawk pads do not come with them which is fine. Most aftermarket pads do not have them. The Hawk pads will work just fine. Initial cold and hot bite, noise, wear and modulation characteristics will be very different from stock pads. Pad choice is based on personal preferences so you may or may not like the Hawk pads for various reasons.

Thanks for your help, is there any way to get the mass vibration dampeners on the hawk pads or would it be not worth it because I know that the current pads have them. If it is possible to swap them do you know what tools I would need?
