PSdZ data update

long story short,

I had ista with full data version 4.39.20. I've tried to update the version by deleting everything in ista/psdz/data_swi. Then I've extracted full psdz version 4.43.40 into swi_data and updated through note pad the ista_reg_fix file with the good version number.

Now, while I'm at the main screen, I can see programming data is 4.43.40. When I look in the version tab, everything is still at 4.39.20 except for "service data" that shows 4.43.40.

Can someone explain how to be 100% sure that the update worked correctly? what do I need to look at in the settings to confirm the update went through?

I'm not that techy

that is normal. you are only updating the pdszdata - not the actual version of the software or anything.

as long as you updated the registry and get no errors when you launch ISTA - you are good.
