I stumbled across the trailer yesterday. Looking forward to more silliness from the three stooges.

Oh ok. Why? Does switching on Amazon Prime and seeing it there available to watch give you some discomfort?

I just can't fathom why you're glad something will be going that gives others a lot of pleasure, yet does you no harm.

Hopefully you'll see that your comment is really pathetic.

If you don't like it, just move on and don't watch it. No need to be like "I'm glad it will be going".

Well I'm looking forward to watching the new series as much as I've enjoyed watching and re watching all the previous series including when they were presenting Top Gear.

What's not to like, three now older men dicking around in cars having adventures and making memories.

Can't wait. Really like their shows. I've grown to like Clarkson a lot more since he left Top Gear.

It had a pretty poor review in The Telegraph although that seemed to be based on the trailer rather than the actual show itself

I've always enjoyed watching them, yes three old men being rather silly, but so what ? I'll definitely be watching.

It probably is time to stop though (although I think there is one more to come in the autumn) as I think coming up with original ideas is becoming harder and harder.

I would say that Clarkson's Farm has been very enjoyable and just shows that he (and probably the other two) are able to do something completely different and make a success of it

Ah, so just because you don't like something that means nobody should be able to like it? Gotcha.

While I think they've lost the charm of the earlier stuff, I still look forward to seeing it because it's a programme on TV (loosely) that is for people like us, and with this going it seems that short of watching stuff on Youtube, there will be nothing aimed at people who like cars left.

Clarkson's great in the farm series, James May's good in his travel/cooking things. Hammond on the other hand still seems to be aiming at the knuckle dragging sun reader/children with the things he's done away from the trio so it'll be interesting to see if that changes long term or if he continues with the same inane stuff.

Don’t get your knickers in a twist - I hate it and am glad it’s going, that’s my opinion.

Yours is different and you obviously feel the individuals are otherwise worth watching, I don’t.

Coming onto a thread, that clearly is full of folks that like the programme; just to state you hate it and glad its coming to an end; is just trolling / inciting folk to get pissed off really...

Bit of a knobheadery move isn't it...

Don't like it/don't comment - s'not ard...

Fair comment, bad day/week and I noticed the notification from a previous and my piss began to spontaneously combust.

Being different origin, I have been first introduced to original 'Top Gear' somewhere in 2010 by a friends of mine. We've been sitting high watching it, I was stunned how different a British humor is and it took me a while to realize that despite it is being a show, they are pretty much what they are in real live (I've red plenty of columns by Clarkson on Sunday Times about cars and a farm), seen different shows by Richard Hammond and James May. I reckon TopGear/Grand Tour is a comedy of absurd mixed with 'let it be' and 'carry on'.
Looking forward for a new episode!

I saw JC on Who wants to be a millionaire the other day….fuck me he looks old now. I hadn’t seen him on anything new since the last series of Clarksons Farm, I really that, hopefully they’ll be another one. I’d heard it’d been dropped due to his suggestion regarding MM

Looking forward to seeing the three of them together for another GT

Clarksons Farm, which is great, will be back in May I believe and I think another series after that is on the way.

No one really cares about what he said re “her” anymore and not many people did at the time other than the offended culture we sadly live in. He’s worth too much to Amazon still for them to drop him (and Clarksons Farm they would be mad to drop at the moment)

Caught some of a 20+ year old episode of Top Gear on Dave the other day.

It was season 1 and prior to James May joining.
The guy in May's place was someone called Jason Dawe. He looked like a proper dodgey second hand car salesman of the era and had the charisma of one too!

It would have been a very different show had he not left / got sacked and May joined.
I don't even think it would have lasted for as long as it did.

It was like un-earthing a time capsule........
*The star in a reasonably priced car board had just about half a dozen people on it (half of which were the origional Stig and the presenters.)
*The power laps board had some very laughable (by todays's standards) times on it.
*There was no "Top Gear challange" and it was actually a proper motoring show (mainly) featuring reviews on cars that Joe Public would actually be buying at the time. It was actually shocking to see Jason Dawe explaining why you should buy the 1.4 Peugeot 206 over the 1.6. A segment like that would probably not even be considered for todays show.
*There was a segment where Clarkson was reviewing a W220 S Class with radar guided cruise control (standard on many of today's cars but a VERY expensive optional extra at the time) and was basically saying that if this is the future, then there will come a time when the driver of a car will become redundant!

The evolution of what TG was to what it became, then to the Grand Tour is amazing to see when you watch episodes that old.

I never watched as much of The Grand Tour as I did TG, but look forward to watching endless re-runs of it in a few years.

Went to Beaulieu National Motor Museum today and they have a Top Gear area, or Graveyard as they call it

Full of original cars, only 1 fake (the “space shuttle”) and featuring segments from the shows, 2 things of note there were the first cars they converted to boats which was a great episode, and 2 of the scooters from the Vietnam special was was also great! Said to my boy we need to watch them as he’s not seen them, those things were what Top Gear was great at.

Shame Amazon don't sell The Grand Tour on blu ray Region 2. I would buy the whole lot in a heart beat.

Hopefully they will consider that when the show comes to an end.

I recently dumped Amazon due to some bad experiences, which is a shame as the Grand Tour was the only reason I signed up to Prime all those years ago.

James May's brick Land Rover will forever have me in stitches

"You're alright, you're alright, you're alright, you're alright......." The Robin Reliant space shuttle was a brilliant episode

I think TG is my favourite overall and I have every single one of them on disc.....well, just the Clarkson, May and Hammond ones. The shows after their departure are shite.

I love the Grand Tour as well, but I dunno, I think TG has the edge. Clarkson in particular is looking a bit too old for all the goofing around now unfortunately.
