Mods, maintenance, etc. will come in 3 stages.<br /> <br /> Stage 1: Maintenance/Getting ready for tuning<br /> Adaptive headlight warning (battery or possibly faulty wiring in the headlights, may just code the feature out)<br /> Engine and cabin air filters<br /> New gas cap<br /> Walnut blasting<br /> Control arms (or other front suspension issue causing vague steering)<br /> Spark plugs (1 step colder) + coils<br /> Possibly new battery -might be giving wrong voltage<br /> Oil catch can (+Liqui Moly 5w-30 oil change + filter)<br /> <br /> Stage 2: Usability and more in-depth maintenance<br /> Bumper/hood alignment - as you can see in the photos, there is a big panel gap due to the bumper mounting brackets being broken/worn. Hood is also a little off center too<br /> Michelin Pilot Sport AS4<br /> Un-lower it - It is lowered a good bit I believe, probably just lowering springs. I will probably go with Bilstein, maybe coilovers, but stock ride height<br /> Headlight alignment<br /> Engine mounts<br /> Transmission/diff service<br /> Fix thigh supports - currently do not adjust when using the switch for them<br /> Paddle replacement or re-code - make the left one shift up when pulled and right shift down when pulled, currently they both upshift when pulled and downshift when pushed<br /> <br /> Stage 3mods fall into 3 categories<br /> <br /> Aesthetic:<br /> Paint correction/polishing/dent correction<br /> Paint break calipers (see yellow from the color palette in next post)<br /> Kidney grills (gloss black or black and silver/Damascus silver/chrome)<br /> Wrap interior trim silver Damascus and delete all BMW silver to matte black<br /> Re-finish soft touch trim (peeling)<br /> Re-finish or wrap leather on steering wheel<br /> Black rear lip spoiler (M5 style)<br /> Black mirror caps<br /> Some yellow/gold interior accents to match the calipers<br /> <br /> Tuning:<br /> Intake<br /> High flow catted downpipes (maybe headers too)<br /> Valved muffler or subtly tuned exhaust<br /> Injectors?<br /> Stage 2 or 2+ eventual<br /> <br /> Features:<br /> Ceramic tint<br /> Backup camera<br /> Comfort access/remote start/keyless entry and go<br /> Android auto/apple car play<br /> Wireless charging
