If they were both brand new the 996 is a no brainer. However, with the Porsche having 50k+ miles, I'd have to go with the 335. The reasons being that the Porsche will cost an arm and a leg to maintain and it's not going to last as long as the 335. Also, being a 2001, it's going to be replaced in a few years. Soon you will be stuck with an older model. My $.02
