I honestly don't know why you guys make such a big fuss about breaking it in, chances are you will never see the effects of a slow break in because you will sell the car well before the rings and heads start giving in. And if they do prematurely, it will be due to constant and rapid temperature changes i.e not letting the engine get warm before flooring it all the way to work everyday.

I drove it like a madman, right from day 1! Just make sure its nice an warm before you push it.
