Well.. first of all, the brands of "Bild" (eg sportbild, autobild...) dont really stand for what you could call top qualitiy journalism. ;-)
This "test" is very short and mostly points out the opinion based on an individual driving experience. So compared to magazines like for example "ATZ" who investigate features of cars in a lot more detailled and scientific way, autobild isnt really the top choice.
Second, yes i would say that over here most people only speak of true sports cars when you pretty much cant drive em on regular streets no more..
So since you mentioned it - the GT3 RS would probably fit the definition.
