Sucks to hear that. I wonder what the issue could be for you. The experiences you are having (as well as others) has prepared me to not expect mine in until July since it's due in port at the end of the week.
I too sold my only car, but did so the day before I left for ED when somebody offered my full asking price. So, it has been public transportation for me mostly with an occasional rental here and there.
