My car goes into limp mode at the most random times. In one instance, I was driving aggressively with the engine completely warmed up and limp mode suddenly kicked in. In another instance, I was driving the car through town at low speeds for just 10 minutes. The revs never went above 2,000 rpm but limp mode still kicked in.
I got it checked out at the dealer and the problem was allegedly fixed, but it's happened two times since then. I just don't get what it could be because it happens at the most random times.
I know that the f30 335i m sport has cooling fan glitches, but if the dealer says it's "fixed", then what else should I do?
