I do not own either one, but do fly other makes. I fly just to fly, no ariel photography.
In my opinion, the DJI Phantom is class of the field. They have excellent flight control systems. They hover in GPS mode very well. See quite of few enthusiast flying them.
I think the Inspire would be overkill. But depends on your needs.
