They will not commit yet. I paid $3500 over from them for my 1 series M. I thought that my M2 was going to be MSRP, but they then asked for $5000 over. I settled and bought it for MSRP plus $2500 on Saturday.

Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of having what is being marketed as a pure track car that is able to be driven on a regular basis. I just feel that there are cars that can do as well on the track for less money, or cars that offer a bit more nostalgia, romance and daily drivers that perform almost as well on the track for the same amount of money.

I would to hear the counterpoint from others, who believe the GTS is the way to go for the money (how it is better for the money than the competition). I realize that without anyone actually driving the car, it is all speculation based on aesthetics and performance numbers without the opportunity to experience the emotion of driving.
