I rang my insurance before I got my M performance parts fitted just to see the price difference, they asked me if they were genuine BMW dealer fit parts or 3rd party company when I told them BMW they said no extra cost and they updated the policy and resent the certificate covering the additional modifications.
Sounds like I got lucky
