I would look for jacks listed as "low-profile". Your other choice will be steel vs. aluminum. Aluminum is much lighter. If you ever plan on taking the jack with you, I'd recommend aluminum.

Also, it would be a good idea to get BMW jack pad adapters. They fit into your jack pads and will give you a nice flat surface to jack up.
