I'm looking at adding the intermediate pipes (BMW Part #18302287042) to the stock M240 exhaust. I'm getting conflicting information on what tips will fit over the ends. Some people say only the M performance tips (chrome or CF), some say the stock tips will fit fine with a little effort, and some say no tips period and you're meant to leave the end of the intermediate pipes exposed as the "tips". Can anyone clarify? Thanks!
