Cold Weather Thread

Figured I'd start this for a log - see how cold it gets this year where you live. Because...global warming.

Today was cold where I was...that slightly unpleasant feeling when you touch something metal and there's just that little "sticking" feeling as your skin starts to stick to the metal. That, and when I spent a minute or two with an ice scraper trying to dislodge a hunk of ice that had adhered to the inside of my wheel well and was causing noises that made me wince anytime I hit a bump. Unfortunately, it was too cold to dislodge it. May have to park in the garage tonight to get it heated up a little to dislodge it tomorrow.

Today, with the windchill, it was negative 37 Celsius or about negative 35 Fahrenheit. And I foolishly decided I didn't need gloves or a hat, just a heavier leather jacket. So I wasn't spending more than a few minutes outside with no gloves trying to pry that ice out of my wheel well.
