I was thinking of this as a cool business idea that can be applied across multiple car manufacturers, but I think it'll also be fun if BMW did it in house:
BMW ///M can come up with a lease program that allows lessees to swap M cars amongst each other throughout the 3 year lease. They can charge a premium to manage the program and I'm sure some frequent lease customers and even those who have never leased before (like me) would consider something like that.
The program makes you swap your M every 6 months so you basically get 6 different M cars in the 3 year period. There may need to be a pre-set date to enter the program each year. Cars move from person to another (through local dealerships). Mileage overage = extra $. So many options from M2 to M3/M4 to X3M/X4M to M5 to X5M/X6M to M8 etc. and you can specify if coupe is okay or not. You get to try everything (and make your neighbors jealous) while paying the average lease price which wouldn't be terrible based on BMW lease rates
Who's in? Just for fun
