Fuel pump problem?
I searched a bunch of threads, but can't seem to find a situation similar to mine
Here are the facts:
- no problems on start-up. Car starts right away.
- one episode when the car was running really rough, stuttering and hesitating on acceleration, and very low power. This was from start-up after being parked for an hour and the engine was relatively warm
- After driving like this for about 10 minutes, I pulled over, killed the engine then restarted after about 5 minutes. After restarting, the engine ran fine.
- I have been noticing some rough idling from time to time that will cause the car to shudder
I have brought it to the dealer for a second time. They said it could be the fuel pump but need to run some tests and run these by BMW Canada.
