The G80 I sat in at the dealer had those and it would kinda suck to loose them from factory. Wish I would have taken a picture of the sticker.

In looking at the configurator, using the side view before you click on the interior to get the 360 view, it looks like both extended and full leather has the knee pad. Makes sense that they wouldn't take away the knee pad in the higher spec.
I'd get the full leather if the lower dash were in black like the upper. I'm getting the Silverstone interior and don't love the grey on the lower dash.
