I am curious, do they sell hot dogs and soft drink at the Costco snack bar in Glasgow? 
Here in the US they've offered it for decades and the price hasn't changed (US$1.50).

Yess. They do the beef hot dog and soft drink for £1.5! I have a liking for the £1.5 slice of cheese pizza though. I do wish I had discovered costco years ago.
