Please don't get me wrong. He royally fucked up. Period. The book should be thrown at him - he took an innocent life (well, two lives, including the golden retriever) I'm just saying, there's attorneys out there that can minimize the damage he will absorb. The bigger impact will be how Ruggs carries himself from now until trial.

As for the bail, my comment was in reference to the state. State requested 1 mil for bail. Didn't happen.

Lastly. He already hired the best of the best. Durst's former attorney. DiCaprio. Mike Tyson. Ronaldo. List goes on.

Like I said. This is how the world works. Unfortunately or in the case of a select few, fortunately.
It's absolutely irrelevant who his attorney is in a case like this....there is video and very few facts unknown. His past clients do not matter.

It's a shame for everyone involved, Ruggs included. Everyone has probably driven when they shouldn't have....and consequences can range from feeling like shit the next day due to a hangover....to saying something to someone you regretted....to just getting a normal DUI.....to what happened to Ruggs. He obviously didn't mean for this to happen, he is a young person who didn't know how to control his alcohol or car and that's a bad mix. It's just tragic all around.

I am still shocked though how you can be alive at 156....I've never felt confident to go over 115 (and that's on an empty 4-lanes each direction highway in the middle of the night with no one around).
What do you mean - "it's irrelevant who his attorney is." I can't even process how that even comes out of somebodies mouth. This isn't just US specific but equally if not more heinous shit has happened where people have walked BY having that kind of attorney.

I'm not advocating for Ruggs to walk. Im merely stating how the world works. This isn't what I want, just how I know the legal system to work. I hope they throw the book at him - Las Vegas and Nevada have a huge decision to make. One of the largest hurdles they had to face when winning a NFL team was? How would young athletes handle the city. This isn't going to help their cause to land a NBA team. They either have to make him an example or set the tone for future athletes.
The dude was at Top golf brother. They are in every city now. Not like he was at some killer night club. I understand what you are saying. Most would think he was at some strip/night club. Just wasn't the case. I hope he gets the full penalty as much as anyone
