Ferrari were adamant everything on their car is legal with multiple FIA inquiries and checks.
At this point in time, you'd have to be of questionable intelligence to try to get something past the litany of photographers, spies from teams, and the FIA. It just isn't really possible to hide things anymore with all the data collection and analyses from outsiders.
