This will primarily be my combo for the track but am driving around a bit to get used to them. I think I will put 5mm spacers in the rear even though it looks pretty nice. No fender rub in the back and I tested on a couple of my big bumps.
The more surprising is the front doesn't rub on the fender but it is super tight. The 305/30-19 are a bit shorter than the stock P4S so I think that countered the wider wheel. I am planning on improving the clearance but will not buy the aftermarket liners. I don't think I will cut out completely, but I'll know more once I get to it.
This thing is a 3800lb go kart now. It's crazy how different the car feels. First I think the unsprung weight and shorter back tire livened up acceleration a bit. Traction is wayyyyyy better on acceleration. I'm running JB4 map2 and it just digs. Actually launch control caused the car to bog a bit too much but 2nd gear was WOW! I haven't pushed the tires too hard in the twisties but turn in is sharp and I can get into the throttle much harder out of the turn. I have a track day next week so I will be spending some time getting used to the changes.
There is a noticeable increase in road noise and bit more harshness. This is probably compounded with the camber plates and spherical bearings on the toe arms. The P4S was not nearly as harsh or noisy. But I wouldn't anticipate many people running this tire as a daily. For sure an acceptable trade-off. I think the exhaust is just too quiet
I have downpipes waiting patiently for their install and will add a single mid.
I'll get some better pics but are a few more I took.
