Both EL and single vastly improve the mid-range sound, it's deeper with more volume.
The Equal length is more aggressive but tends to get mildly raspy on high RPM.
The Equal length is an excellent option if you are looking for a deeper midrange and more volume.
The single is the better option if you want more volume and a cleaner sound.
