Well, I'd havta disagree. Again, it's a big assumption and doesn't sit well w me cuz I powerwash my car all the time. Maybe they got lucky all the times they washed my car but then again they already admitted that it happens when they wash other clients' cars and yet *they still don't have a workaround*, so that ought to tell you something about their level of attention.
Anyway, I'm not debating if my car's old or not but the condition of the badge was fine, regardless of whatever assumptions ppl have. Like I said many, many times already, if there was any pre-existing damage, I would've let it go.
Your ignition issue is A LOT more complicated as many things could've happened but my roundel was very simple to assess liability. However, it's some freaky bad luck if you believe that they were just unlucky when that one time they started your car it went bonkers. Good on you to swallow that 900 but then again it's hard to prove they did something wrong to it, vs my case, they admitted wrecking it but just wanted to blame something else.
