It’s likely caused by improper toe setting on one side of the car. People think camber quickly destroys tires but that’s not true. Improper toe settings can destroy a tire in as little as 2-3k miles. Also, the feathering you’re getting on one side is toe related. Get an alignment from a reputable BMW Indy shop.
