When I got my 2023 Audi R8, I did have the entire car wrapped in PPF. But this car was twice the price of an M5 and I intend to keep the R8 forever, so spending the money on full PPF was justified in that case.

Paint correction and ceramic coat it, the. I would consider PPFing the front and hood as those are the high impact areas.
Depending upon the quality of the OEM paint correction could be skipped
