Lol, thanks for chiming-in, the thread has garnered much interest… I thought perhaps my OCD had gotten the better of me!

In terms of posting results, it’s going to be a long time before the effort can be proven to bear fruit. We don’t get really bad winters in Ireland so it’s only occasionally the councils send the gritters out.

I’m working off the basis that salt is bad for cars and Salt Away is a proven, harmless product. It worked great on my boats.

In all reality, I’m doing this for future owners and corrosion won’t be an issue for a pre-purchase inspection.

By the way, I also used the regular lance to hit the wheels /brakes with a gentle mist of Salt Away solution.
