Frozen dark gray matte paint finish question

Hi guys,
Picked up my 1st BMW about a month ago in a matte finish- Frozen dark gray metallic on a 550e. Was a little skeptical due to the amount of care the paint needs but I'm pretty good with keeping my cars cleaned and detailed (OK, maybe I'm even a little OCD )
So i took the car to get ceramic coated this week and the detailer noticed the spotting on the bumper below (and this appears ONLY on the bumper). He didn't coat it and I have an appt with BMW to take a look at it this week. I've only rinsed the car with water, haven't even soaped it yet. We've had lots of road salt down here so I've been trying to keep up on keeping the salt off the car.
Car was kept in the garage overnight after coating and then the next day- the spots seem to have disappeared!! Has anyone had this experience before? Paint/clearcoat defect? Pics below. Car is kept in the garage at home as well.
