I am planning to get aftermarket wheels for my winter tires. Local shop say that they can program the wheels with aftermarket TPMS sensors.

Do you guys have any experience with that? Do I have to pay attention to something besides initializing the system for the tyre type change? Do they work without any intervention or programming from the OBD port? I know that they have to be 433hz.

Also do I have to keep the same wheels on the same side everytime in order not to confuse the sensory system of the car? I have no idea how it works thats why I am asking.
