I spray a little Griot's Speed Shine and use a Rag Company Gauntlet towel. The larger size is easily enough to do 1 car, although I dedicate a small size for the wheels. I apply no force, just guide the towel over the surface. Typically only use one pass and I'm good to go.

I also fold in the side mirrors to help drain out trapped water while I'm drying the rest of the car.

I get the reason for using a leaf blower but, personally, don't think the noise and expense is worth it. I also don't have any of my cars coated.
