Played with a guy today with a brand new set of Taylor Made 790s. Darn good looking clubs. He played OK and I haven't played with him enough to judge if he always plays irons like he did. He let me hit one on a short par 3. Was about 135 to a slight uphill pin. I hit my 9i about 15 feet right on the green (missed the putt for a potential skin but that isn't relevant just how my life is going this week
). He let me hit his 9i. Hit it about 10 feet left of the pin. But to be honest my PXG FELT better. Meh who knows.
