The MINI Cooper S rocks. What a blast to drive, especially on the track. I do prefer the 2002-2006 models though. Have a modded 2003 myself sitting next to my 135i. It corners like it is on rails.
By the way, there is PLENTY of front seat leg room. I'm 6'4" and don't even need to have the seat back all the way. There is tons of leg and head room.
