But degrees in business aren't worth .2 either so I'll take the middle road and say that in a LOT of cases, major doesn't matter much. Come on though Marketing? Really?
That is just as much of a bullshit major as anything else. Undergrad major counts for not much... Still more than the MBA from a State school right after Bachelors completion though...
Besides, Fine art is where it's at... My BFA in Metalsmithing has paved a path before me...
