cold wet road = winter tires then
All-seasons would probably cut it, but summer tires would not.
I prefer to use H-rated or V-rated winter tires, like the Dunlop Wintersport M3 (available as RFT), as they still have great treadwear and give up a bit of snow traction to have better handling and dry road manners.
I have been using these for the past 4 years on several different vehicles, and they are great tires. Blizzak LM-22 are also great, but may not be available in a RFT.
www.tiretrends.com in Port Moody can help you out with all your questions. I have bought 17 tires from them in the last 5 years, and will continue to go back as long as they are in business.
