....it's called Arabic. Gulf Arabic and English are the main languages (and Bengali, Hindi, and Persian is used too, due to the immigrant workers there.) The private schools use English and the public schools use English as a second language.
You can tell it's the Emirate of Dubai (look at the sidewalks.)
I visited a friend who teaches at AUD. Dubai has a great nightlife, club scene and music (liquor is available at the big name hotels and most of the top clubs are in there..) Pretty amazing place.
