In my 95 M3 the exhaust connects before the Cats for the O2 sensor and then separates again cause OBD1 only runs 2 O2 sensors. OBD2 runs 4 O2 sensors so the exhaust stays separate with a single muffler. Is that what you meant when you said the "135 meets and has a common exhaust"?

And... NO, that is not what I ment. The comparo was between the 335 and the 135..! The 335 has a true dual exhaust all the way back, the 135 does not!

M cars are another beast completly and not apart of this discussion! But, as "for bucking this tradition" The 335 is one of the first BMW's to not have the dual exhaust tips on the driver side, but single tips on each side.
