BTW, it will be hot...all the time. You'll be in an air-conditioned room or building, it can be dark outside and you'll think, "Oh, good. It's night time so at least it's cooled down a bit." Nope, not at all. It's still just as hot and sticky as it was during the day.
I guess with my jeans comment, light-weight jeans is the ideal. Worse though, is getting a mosquito bite that swells up and only having jeans on to agitate it. Do bring some shorts a) for comfort (can't take the heat), b) if you are bit so to not agitate the bite area.
