i got this yesterday and used it for maybe about 10mins tops!! i decided that i wanna keep my old one so i don't have a need for this one. It has a significant power increase compared to the old 7424 i believe its 6800rpms compared to 6000rpms on the old one. It uses the same backing plates as the old one it comes with the white pad and handle (not even opened). I paid about 135 bucks shipped to my house you can have it for 100bucks shipped!! thats a 35 dollar savings on basically a brand new Porter cable XP
