Dietary fats do not increase cholesterol. That is a myth. Too little saturated fat intake actually encourages cardiovascular disease. It's actually the refined carbohydrates (sugar, refined grains) and the fried food cooked in rancid vegetable oils that cause cholesterol to rise in the body due to their inflammatory effect. Cholesterol rises as a result of inflammation in the body; it is a very powerful anti-inflammatory. The medical community and big pharma have their head up their ass.
