Absolutely ridiculous. I like eating a big burger once in a while, having a cold glass of milk, and love my dog like she is a family member. These are just some of the things that make life worth living.
Every time I see something like this I think about the sheer arrogance of man. The earth has been around for over 4 and a half BILLION years. I don't think me having a miniature schnauzer is going to bring Mother Earth to her knees.
