Well, because combox is a new piece of hardware which allows new type of interface and communications.
It's like asking PS3 to be software updated to allow you to play Move games without the hardware (Eye and Move controllers). Not likely.
And to be able to get a free new combox retrofit from BMW is like Sony or Microsoft giving your one year old console a free Move bundle or Kinect..... again, not very likely. |
