1. Rub what you can off with your fingers.
2. Follow-up with WD-40 and a paper towel. Make sure the towel is fairly "wet" with WD-40.
The towel is "aggressive" enough to pick-up the adhesive, the WD-40 breaks down the adhesive and keeps it from resticking.
3. Use a degreaser like Simple Green or quick detailer with a microfiber to get the WD-40 off the body.
4. Give the area a small patch of wax to protect the paint.

WD-40 is amazing for getting decal residue off paint.
